What is Taushi Fata?

It all began with a passion for holistic products and self care. In 2020, Taushi Fata CEO, Whitney Davis, visited a friend in Atlanta, GA who had discovered and made a DIY coffee facial scrub. As she was cleaning herself in the shower that night, she decided to try the scrub. Whitney couldn’t believe how soft and tight her skin was after patting her face dry. In that moment, she knew she needed to have it for the rest of her life!

When Whitney traveled back to her home state, she immediately researched the best minimal ingredient DIY coffee scrub recipe that included essential oils. She then researched the top essential oils that benefit the health and longevity of facial skin. When she finally narrowed it down to Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Lavender, and Tea Tree, Whitney purchased all the ingredients she needed and started making batches.

She has always made extra scrubs for friends and family as gifts, or whenever they asked! Every person that has tried Whitney’s facial scrub is always looking for more. About the Brand

When it came time to deciding a brand name, Whitney chose to get creative and dive into her Nigerian roots. She explored different skincare-related verbiage using Nigeria’s primary spoken language—Hausa. In Hausa, “taushi fata” means “soft skin”. Whitney loved how elegant it sounded, and how it simply rolled off the tongue, so she knew it was a winning name for her product.

To continue support for the African community and her philanthropic desires, Taushi Fata is donating 10% of proceeds to local charities and movements that support the well-being of the less fortunate in Africa and United States. Taushi Fata was created with intention to navigate self care with holistic approaches, and give back to the greater human race.
